The Friends of Urban Nature

Friends of Urban Nature (FUN) is a partnership of public, private, and volunteer groups collaborating on initiatives for Nature Recreation, Nature Education, Natural Health, and Nature Restoration to help the public and in particular families and kids enjoy and support Urban Natural Areas, Birds and Wildlife. FUN Madison groups include Madison Bird City co-sponsors Madison Parks, Madison Audubon, Wild Warner, Friends of Cherokee Marsh, Friends of Olin Turville, Friends of the UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve, and other area groups who collaborate on activities such as restoration of natural areas throughout Madison, year-round Sunday Bird and Nature Walks, and kids Nature Education initiatives.
