What is it that makes the Preserve so attractive to birds and birders alike? The variety of different landscapes side by side? Like prairie and woods, shoreline and marsh, thickets and open spaces, the abundance of food such as insects, berries and seeds? The many secluded yet well maintained path, the hills and the dales? It all adds up. Mike Bailey and others come back regularly and have bird stories to tell in beautiful photos.
